Accessibility

Thinking about accessibility is a part of making spaces more inclusive. We want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy our restaurant and this website.

Accessibility encompasses a wide range of needs that we may each need help with within our lifetime. These can be temporary or long-term physical disabilities. These can be with movement, vision, or hearing. They can be with cognition such as developmental and learning disabilities, mental health disabilities, environmental sensitivities, and other conditions. Most of these are not visible.

Our washrooms are downstairs. There are no stairs to enter the restaurant, however. Please state any food allergies before ordering. There may be other challenges and opportunities. Please contact us about them ASAP.

On this website, we hope our content is available to all. Guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, we have designed and will continue to update and modify this website to meet new and evolving guidelines that help with our intention to make our content available to all. WCAG puts forth four main principles for creating an accessible website, and we strive to meet these at a minimum.

If you have suggestions for ways that we can make our environments more accessible then please reach out from our Contact page.

These are part of our guidelines.
